The Bachelor of Business (Marketing) is designed for students looking to gain the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in marketing management.

What's involved?

You'll study 24 subjects, including three core subjects, 12 specialisation subjects and nine elective subjects. At least four of your chosen electives must be business or business-related subjects.

Elective Subjects

You'll choose nine electives to complete this course. An elective is any undergraduate subject offered at the CSU Study Centre. You can enrol in these subjects provided you meet any prerequisites and enrolment restrictions. Electives bring your total number of subjects up to the 24 required over the course of your three-year degree.

Joint Study allows you to take a fixed set of subjects from a discipline other than Marketing. The discipline you choose for Joint Study will be shown on your degree certificate alongside the Bachelor of Business (Marketing) title, e.g. ‘Bachelor of Business (Marketing/Management)’.

If you choose a Joint Study, you'll take five subjects from a select set of options.

Some subjects require you to have passed prerequisites before you are allowed to begin. For other subjects, you'll be allowed to judge for yourself whether you have enough prior knowledge and experience to manage the course.

You won't be allowed to claim more than one Joint Study.
