Celebrating student and staff excellence at 9th annual CSU Study Centre Gala Dinner

CSU Melbourne gala

On 21st June, the 9th annual CSU Study Centre Gala Dinner event was held at the Lincoln of Toorak in Melbourne to congratulate CSU Study Centre’s award-winning students. The event was attended by 305 guests including students, senior representatives of Charles Sturt University and Study Group Australia, key international education agents and CSU Study Centre service providers.

Student academic recognition included Dean’s awards and academic achievement awards. Deans awards are given to students who achieve distinction or higher in every subject, while Academic achievement awards recognise those students who achieve a GPA of 6.0 or higher.

This year saw a record number of award winners with more than 400 Academic Achievement awards and 96 Dean's Awards won on the night.

Alongside the formal presentation of certificates, the evening also featured a three-course meal followed by traditional cultural dance performances from Indian, Sri Lankan and Chinese students.

After formal proceedings were concluded, the night continued on with guests taking advantage of the celebratory atmosphere on the dance floor.

It was a great evening, with our record-breaking cohort of talented CSU Study Centre students receiving well deserved recognition for their hard work.
