In December 2015 the CSU Study Centres graduated a record 990 students from the Study Centres in Sydney and Melbourne. Melbourne graduates attended two ceremonies at the Albury Civic Centre, and the Sydney graduation ceremony was held at the CSU Bathurst campus.
Many graduates were accompanied by their families who travelled from all over the globe to proudly watch their loved one graduate with a CSU Bachelor’s, Graduate Diploma or Master’s qualification. Six buses transported graduates and their families to the ceremonies.
The graduates at Bathurst received their awards on stage from the Pro Chancellor, Carol McDiarmid, and in Albury from the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Andrew Vann, in front of their very proud families and friends.
CSU Melbourne Study Centre graduates in Albury.
Catherine Anderson, Deputy Commissioner of the ATO was a guest speaker in Albury. Her message of “having a go” and “not being afraid of failure” was positively received by the students. Second guest speaker the Honourable John Sharp, president of Regional Express Airlines, encouraged the students to believe in themselves and to do more for others less fortunate.
Mr Doug Ferguson from KPMG was guest speaker at the Bathurst ceremony. He spoke about the importance of always striving for success and making the most of available opportunities.
The day was huge success for all our students and staff. Congratulations to all involved.
