Scholarships

 

CSU Study Centres are offering two student scholarships in 2012:

Academic Merit Scholarship

The Academic Merit Scholarship is for gifted students who begin their studies at a CSU Study Centre in Sydney or Melbourne in 2012.

The value of the scholarship is equal to 20% of the tuition fees paid on the first eight subjects of your CSU course, up to the value of $3,936.

The Scholarship will be paid after the session census date and will be available provided you remain enrolled and successfully complete each of the eight subjects undertaken.

Eligibility and selection

• Scholarship applicants will need to provide evidence of high achievement in their previous studies, with a score of 80% or more in the qualification used to gain admission to the CSU program.
• All students who submit an application to commence studies at a CSU Study Centre in 2012 will be considered. Students don’t need to submit a separate scholarship application.
• Only students who have paid their semester fees in full will be eligible to receive the Academic Merit Scholarship.

How to apply

To apply for an Academic Merit Scholarship, you will need to:
1. Complete a CSU Study Centre application and submit it via your agent or directly to the CSU Study Centre of your choice (Sydney or Melbourne).
2. Include certified evidence of your academic qualifications, your English language proficiency and any other supporting documentation required for your particular course.

Living Allowance Scholarship

Also available are a limited number of Living Allowance Scholarships for new students from selected countries who begin their studies at the Melbourne or Sydney CSU Study Centres in Sydney or in 2012.

This scholarship is valued at 20% of the tuition fees paid on your first eight subjects studied at CSU, up to the value of $3,936.

The Living Allowance Scholarship will be paid after the session census date and will be available, provided you remain enrolled and successfully complete each of the eight subjects undertaken.

Eligibility and selection

• All citizens from the following regions will be considered: Africa, Latin America, Iran, Thailand, Europe (including Turkey), Korea, Taiwan, Pakistan and Indonesia.
• The scholarships are limited and will be offered on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
• Only students who have paid their semester fees in full will be eligible to receive the Scholarship.
• Scholarship applicants will need to provide evidence of high achievement in their previous studies.

How to apply

To apply for a Living Allowance Scholarship, you will need to:
1. Complete the CSU Study Centre application form and submit it via your agent or directly to the Study Centre of your choice (Sydney or Melbourne).
2. Include certified evidence of your academic qualifications, your English language proficiency, a copy of your passport and any other supporting documentation required for your particular course.

There are a limited number of Scholarships available – for your chance to receive 20% off your tuition fees, enrol in a CSU Study Centre course today!  

Note: There is no right of appeal if you are unsuccessful in securing a scholarship.
