About the course
This is a two-year course where you will study 12 subjects (three subjects per session), worth 96 credit points. You may be eligible for up to 50% academic credit into the Master of Professional Accounting for related prior postgraduate studies.
For each eight-point subject at Charles Sturt, you should expect to spend between 140–160 hours engaged in the specified learning and assessment activities. Students will be assessed on the basis of completed assignments, and examinations, including other methods as outlined in specific subject outlines.
Who is this course for?
Our 12-subject Master of Professional Accounting is an ideal option if you either:
- studied at an Australian university and hold an undergraduate degree in a subject other than accounting, or
- studied at an overseas university and hold an undergraduate degree in accounting that is not recognised by CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
Alternatively, you can study our 16 subject master's if you don't have the relevant accounting qualifications.
