Stories from students past and present

Pratibha

Pratibha from Nepal

Studying Master of Professional Accounting

I don't think you can tell, but I was an introverted person. Unless people came up to me and talked to me, I'm not the conversation starter. After coming here, in work and then in the University, I started to become the conversation starter. I feel happy because it's an improvement for me. You can't always stay quiet and expect people to come to you. Opening up is going to help me in my professional career in the future.

Mojtaba

Mojtaba from Iran

Studied Master of Information Technology, Now CIO and founder of POP Tax

For two years I was at Charles Sturt University Study Centres. I met so many different people… I got inspired by them. All you have to do is just find the right contacts. You need to be in touch with different people. Doesn't matter what fields they are or what level they are; they're always going to have an idea that's going to inspire you and, of course, you have to keep going and going.

Studying Master of Information Technology

The education here is more practical based rather than theory. You learn theories in your lecture, but then comes the time for them to be implemented, and that's the assignment part. That's the best part about the studying over here, and especially at Charles Sturt University Study Centres. The assignments are well designed, they are stepwise and lecturers and teachers are supportive.
