Activities for students 

  • Sports

    Joining a sports team and taking part in sporting activities is a great way of integrating into the Australian way of life, as well as making new friends and keeping fit. At your Study Centre you can get involved in lots of different sports. They range from cricket (during summer), football (during winter), badminton and table tennis (throughout the year). Our student engagement officers and SRC can help you find the right sporting activity or group for you.

  • Campus trips

    Every year, students and staff from the Study Centres travel to the University's Bathurst, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga campus for a two-night trip. The program includes sporting competitions, cultural activities and a campus tour.

  • Annual Gala

    The gala is the biggest event held at our Study Centres. It includes a formal dinner with speakers, awards and entertainment. The night is a celebration of both student and staff achievements, such as the prestigious Executive Dean’s Awards, Academic Achievement Awards, and Lecturer Awards for Excellence in Teaching.

  • Other activities 

    We know it is essential for you to meet new people and develop new skills while you’re studying, so we offer a social calendar every month filed with a variety of events and activities:
