What to do when you arrive at the airport
Brisbane Airport (BNE) is the main international airport closest to the city of Brisbane. When your flight lands at the airport, and you have collected your luggage and passed through customs, make your way to the Airport Visitor Information Desk. Here you will find the Study Brisbane information stands where you can get assistance in finding your way to your accommodation.
If you get lost or need help, look for the Airport Ambassadors in blue shirts who can give you assistance in finding your way around the airport and travelling into Brisbane.
Getting around Brisbane
Train
The AirTrain is a quick and easy way to travel from Brisbane Airport to the city. The train departs every 15 minutes and takes approximately 20 minutes to reach central Brisbane. AirTrain stops at all the major train stations in the city, making it easy to travel onwards to your accommodation. For more information, visit the AirTrain website.
Ferry
Travel inner city Brisbane by ferry with the free hop-on-hop-off CityHopper ferry service. This service runs along Brisbane River every 30 minutes, daily.
Taxi
The taxi rank Brisbane Airport International Terminal is located at the northern end of the arrivals area on Level 2. In the Domestic Terminal, the taxi rank is located centrally in front of the terminal building. There are two taxi companies in Brisbane, Black & White Cabs and Yellow Cab. To find out more about fares and transfers from the Airport by taxi, visit their websites. Uber is also available in Brisbane which you can arrange via the app.
