About the course
Our Master of Information Technology (16 subjects) is designed for students who want to gain a specialist IT postgraduate degree but who don't have a recognised bachelor's degree.
What will you study?
You will study four core subjects and four IT elective subjects for the Graduate Diploma of Information Technology before taking a further eight subjects to complete this master’s degree. You may specialise in one or two subjects (listed below).

IT specialisation subjects
You'll have the option of completing one or two specialisations. Each subject may only count towards one specialisation. If you choose four subjects in the same specialisation, you'll graduate in your chosen specialisation, e.g. Master of Information Technology (Network Security). It's possible to graduate with two specialisations. If you choose four subjects across different specialisations, you'll graduate with a generic Master of Information Technology degree.

Cloud computing
Cloud Computing is one of the fastest growing areas within IT. The recent migration of local IT infrastructure into the Cloud has resulted in a widespread shortage of IT Cloud Systems Administrators, Cloud Architects, and Cloud Systems Engineers. The Cloud Computing specialisation will position graduates to take advantage of this new growth area.
