CSU Melbourne and Sydney study centres both held a Nepal Earthquake fundraiser to support to all those affected by the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on the 25 April.
Our study centre students showed impressive leadership and compassion in their support for those affected by the earthquake in Nepal.
Our students, on their own initiative, raised $6,634.00 through a combined on-campus collection in both our Melbourne and Sydney campuses. They also organised the donation of warm clothing to be sent to Nepal to help those in need.
It was an amazing effort by both Melbourne and Sydney’s study centre Student Representative Committees (SRC), our Nepalese students, volunteers and alumni who all devoted their time to collect the donations, sort and pack numerous cartons of clothing and shoes for this worthy cause. Our gratitude to all the students who contributed their time, funds and clothing.
